Christmas at The Round Foundry & Marshall’s Mill
December 16 2019
We’ve had a wonderfully festive month here at The Round Foundry & Marshall’s Mill, from a fundraising Christmas quiz to a tenant mingle complete will mulled wine and mince pies.
We’ve supported two charities in December including homelessness charity Emmaus Leeds, and domestic violence & abuse support charity Leeds Women’s Aid.
With donations kindly supported from tenants and local businesses to our Christmas quiz raffle, we raised a whopping £225 for Emmaus Leeds which will be used to support their work with 26 formerly homeless people and potentially even more this Christmas.
The evening was kindly hosted at The Midnight Bell with quiz master, Andrew Tymms, on top form entertaining over 50 attendees.
We also continued to support Leeds Women’s Aid and gathered over 180 gifts at our Christmas mingle, when we announced tenant Limehouse as the winner of our bauble decorating competition with a crochet and Gruss vom Krampus bauble.
We rounded off our festive activities with a Christmas Jumper Day – what an amazing effort from the team at All Response Media sporting their best festive knits.
Thank you kindly to all who donated to our fundraisers, and to all tenants who participated in our festive activities. We wish you a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
